Our lightweight MR-S with a 2ZZ-GE swap keeping the stock 5-speed transmission. The high-revving Celica GT-S motor in a mid-engine chassis makes for an incredible driver's car — light, nimble, and screams to redline. The 2ZZ's VVTL-i lift kicks in around 6,200 RPM and pulls hard all the way to 8,200 RPM. In a car this light, it's all you need.
