1UZ / 3UZ Power Steering Delete Kit

Fits 1UZ-FE & 3UZ-FE — SC400, SC430, LS400, LS430, GS400, GS430, and swap applications

$190.00

Delete the power steering system from your 1UZ or 3UZ build with this clean, bolt-on kit. The billet aluminum bracket mounts in place of the power steering pump, holding an idler pulley to keep the accessory belt routing intact. A/C remains fully operational.

Perfect for track builds, engine swaps, and any build where eliminating the PS pump means a cleaner bay and one fewer hydraulic system to maintain.

Confirmed fitment: 1UZ-FE VVT-i and 3UZ-FE. The 1UZ-FE Non VVT-i has not been tested yet — the accessory drive layout is similar and may work, but fitment is unconfirmed. Contact us before ordering if you have a Non VVT-i application.

Cleaner Bay. Less Hydraulic Complexity.

The 1UZ and 3UZ power steering pump adds hydraulic lines, a reservoir, and a constant load on the accessory drive. On swap builds and dedicated track cars this is weight and complexity you don't need. Deleting it with this billet bracket and idler setup keeps the belt routing clean, eliminates a potential leak point, and leaves your engine bay looking purpose-built. A/C stays on — you just lose the pump.

Common Questions

Yes — A/C is fully retained. The accessory belt continues to route through the crank, alternator, and A/C compressor. Only the power steering pump is removed from the system.
An accessory belt is available as an optional add-on. The kit includes the bracket, idler pulley, and all mounting hardware. A 2120mm (83.5") serpentine belt is a common starting point for the delete configuration, but the correct length can vary depending on your alternator, A/C compressor, and any other accessories in your specific build. Contact us with your setup details and we'll help confirm the right size.
Yes. Without power steering assist the rack will feel heavier, especially at low speeds. At highway and track speeds most drivers adapt quickly. This is standard for track-oriented builds where the lighter, more direct steering feel is often preferred.
Remove the PS pump, reservoir, and hydraulic lines. The PS rack inlet and outlet ports should be capped or blocked off — aluminum AN fittings or block-off plugs work well. Contact us if you need guidance on your specific chassis.
This kit has been tested and confirmed on the 1UZ-FE VVT-i and 3UZ-FE — including chassis such as the Lexus SC400, SC430, LS400, LS430, GS400, GS430, and 1UZ VVT-i / 3UZ swap applications. The 1UZ-FE Non VVT-i has not been tested yet. The accessory drive layout is similar and may work, but fitment is unconfirmed — contact us before ordering if you have a Non VVT-i application.
